results.
If you suffer from serious retinal diseases like glaucoma, macular degeneration, or other degenerative eye diseases, you will want to learn about how you can restore your lost vision. Pay particular attention to Dr. Courtney’s creation – known as the Pittsburgh Eye Protocol – and know that these retinal eye diseases are ‘reversible’.
Have you or a loved one been diagnosed with a serious retinal disease? There are unfortunately a group of patients, usually of advancing age, that are afflicted with serious eye diseases and are going blind. Whether their miserable journey will be slow or rapid is still unknown, but the fact that the outcome is known is what is so frightening and depressing.
The names of the diseases are well known to the public. The most common are: Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma, Retinitis Pigmentosa – however, there are many others.
There appears to be a common pattern in all of them however. They are ALL diseases of the retina and in ALL cases, “nothing can be done” in the conventional medical world of Ophthalmology to reverse or prevent the final outcome. This is a tragedy in the making, and something must be done.
The Pittsburgh Eye Protocol was created to do just that.
PEP
The Pittsburgh Eye Protocol (PEP) is a 3-day program offered monthly by our Pittsburgh office.
85-90% of patients that are afflicted with serious retinal diseases (which have NO restorative treatments available in conventional ophthalmology today) who participate in the program will have a substantial improvement in their vision within those 3 days.
What does that actually say about conventional treatment? After all, these are extremely intelligent eye doctors that are trained to treat just one thing—the eye—and the many ways the improper function of it can affect your vision. You will quickly learn that ophthalmology is destined to fail due to the tools used in the profession today which cannot and will not conquer any of these retinal diseases. The only way that it can be done is to re-establish health in the retina which will allow that tissue to function properly once again.
The program was originally developed by a world-renowned ophthalmologist, who then passed on his skills and knowledge to Dr. Courtney. It was then that Dr. Courtney made the necessary changes to make the treatment and outcomes even better. Once perfected by making these significant refinements, Dr. Courtney then authored the only book of its kind, in which he fully describes each component of the 3-Day program in detail, allowing it to become the “How To” manual for patients to assure a successful outcome.
What Do We Treat?
Pittsburgh Eye Protocol refers to a unique set of therapies that offer advantages
over the more conventional treatment approaches that are in use today.
Cataract
A cataract is a clouding of the normally clear lens of the eye. For people who have cataracts, seeing through cloudy lenses is a bit like looking through a dirty window. Clouded vision caused by cataracts can make it more difficult to read, drive a car (especially at night) or see the expressions on a loved one’s face.
A macular pucker is a rare eye condition that can make your vision wavy or distorted. Macular pucker (also called epiretinal membrane) happens when wrinkles, creases, or bulges form on your macula. The macula must lie flat against the back of your eye to work properly—so when it wrinkles or bulges, your central vision is affected.

Retinitis Pigmentosa
Retinitis pigmentosa is an inherited degenerative disease. It slowly affects the retina and causes loss of night and side vision (or tunnel vision). While the type and speed of vision vary from person to person, symptoms often begin in childhood.
A group of eye diseases that can cause vision loss and blindness by damaging a nerve in the back of your eye (also known as the optic nerve). The symptoms can start so slowly that you may not notice them. This damage is often caused by abnormally high pressure in your eye and is one of the leading causes of blindness for people over the age of 60. It can occur at any age but is more common in older adults.

Macular Hole
A macular hole is a small defect in the center of the retina at the back of your eye (macula). The hole may develop from abnormal traction between the retina and the vitreous, or it may follow an injury to the eye. It can blur the central vision you use to do everyday tasks like driving or reading. For most people, macular holes occur as you age but can be caused by any stretching or pulling of the macula.
In macular degeneration, the center of your retina begins to deteriorate. This causes symptoms such as blurred central vision or a blind spot in the center of the visual field. There are two types — wet macular degeneration and dry macular degeneration. Many people will first experience the dry form, which can progress to the wet form in one or both eyes.
Macular Degeneration
Diabetic Retinopathy
Diabetic retinopathy is caused by damage to the blood vessels in the tissue at the back of the eye (retina). Poorly controlled blood sugar is a risk factor. Early symptoms include floaters, blurriness, dark areas of vision, and difficulty perceiving colors. Blindness can occur.
Mild cases may be treated with careful diabetes management. Advanced cases may require laser treatment or surgery.
Who Do We Treat?
Patients from all over the world have come to Pittsburgh to participate in our program and to obtain the benefits of restoring their lost vision. Their Doctors had told them that they were going blind and that nothing could be done. They refused to believe that and hit the internet.
The rest is history.

How to Determine if the Pittsburgh Eye Protocol is for You.
Vision can be restored from these serious retinal diseases. Realizing that this flies in the face of what your very competent ophthalmologist is telling you, they more than likely opined that such a claim must be a “scam.” You, however, are losing your sight with each passing day. You can’t afford to ignore this. Make the decision to participate in what we call “The Courtney 3-day 3-step program to restore your lost vision”
